1. What is Macrame?
Macrame is an ancient art of knotting. It incorporates decorative knots in different kinds of textile e.g Jute, Twine, Yarn, Leather, Hemp and etc. In recent years, Macrame is making a return with the trend of handmade craft arisen and it is becoming more versatile and creative in the hand of artists and craft makers today.
2. Is Macrame same as Crochet?
Many used to confuse Macrame to Crochet. Even though they both be seen as the craft of textile but the techniques used are totally different. Macrame uses intricate knot, hitch and weave to create patterns & articles while Crochet involves in the use of crochet needle with loops of yarn. Macrame is most seen in interior decoration whereas Crochet is seen more in clothing.
3. I am interested in macrame but how do i start?
Compared to other, Macrame is considered the most easy-to-learn handicraft. By learning basic knots and several hitching & weaving techniques, anyone is capable of creating his/her own piece of Macrame! To fully master Macrame, all it takes is to keep on practice. For beginners, it is suggested to first be familiar with the basic knots and some simple small craft like key chains, plant hanger & bracelet. After that, one shall continue to advanced DIY of large piece like bag, wall hanger and other home decor.
4. I prefer to see the cords before purchase. Can i get a sample?
Sorry to inform that we no longer provide free sample. However, we have cutting by meter (1m) option available for our cord collections.

Because Macrame involves in creating different kinds of knots therefore we decided to name our brand Knot Knot. It is easy to remember and fun to pronounce. Why is it with double ‘Knot’? It is because Macrame creation is always beautiful in symmetrical design.

7. How Long will i receive my order?
All orders will be processed and shipped within 3 working days. For order over RM 200, we will provide free shipping. Order below RM 200, there will be a charge of courier fee Rm6.5. If you have your own specific courier service, please do not hesitate to ask us. We shall do our very best to work on it for your convenience.
Estimated arrival will be 3-4 days in West Malaysia. Do keep in mind that there will be delay of arrival in special circumstances i.e. online mega sales period, New Year & other holiday. 8. Why is Knot Knot cord more expensive than other sellers on shopping platform?
Most of the time, Price is an indicator of Value. Knot Knot cord is high in quality with no scraps and 100% new cotton. 9. Why is the color i received different from the one i buy on website?
Due to cotton natural characteristic, each batch of color cords may not come as exactly same as the last one. So it is suggested that you could order a bit extra for specific projects. Also, do keep in mind the screen color may differ slightly from the actual product you get.
